Welcome to
Dr. Ozge Kantas's
Well-being Hub!
Greetings and a heartfelt welcome to the ultimate hub for sustainable well-being, autonomous motivation, and psychology-driven personal and organizational growth!
If you’re looking for generic self-help fluff, you can keep scrolling elsewhere. If you’re ready to understand the science behind fully functioning individuals, teams, and cultures, you’re in the right place.
- Who am I? I’m Dr. Ozge Kantas, a social and personality psychologist, certified psychodramatist (both in Europe and the USA), and the go-to expert for companies and individuals who want to cultivate well-being without depletion, burnout, or the toxic hustle culture. I teach the science of human motivation, organizational culture, and sustainable growth - not just as a professor, but as an international consultant, speaker, and group therapist.
- What do I do? I guide individuals, leaders, and teams in applying cutting-edge psychology to cultivate motivation, emotional agility, and sustainable well-being for themselves, their workplaces, and family businesses and communities.
- Why does it matter? Because well-being isn’t an individual task - it’s an ecosystem that affects every relationship, decision, and environment you’re part of.
My journey in the field of psychology has been diverse, encompassing academia, clinical and non-clinical practice, and a deep commitment to well-being. I completed my postdoctoral studies at the University of Rochester in the Department of Clinical and Social Sciences in Psychology, specifically at the renowned Self-Determination Theory Lab. My aim was to bridge the gap between research and practical application. Early in my career, I worked as a crisis specialist at Strong Hospital's psychiatric emergency program, helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges.
In the fall of 2021, I became an assistant professor at St. John Fisher University. This transition allowed me to share my passion for psychology with the next generation and help people dive deeper into the multifaceted aspects of motivation, well-being, and the intricate interplay of individual and societal factors.
From academia to crisis intervention, I've witnessed the transformative power of integrating psychological principles into real-world contexts.
Bridging Academia and Real-world Impact: I believe in the seamless integration of research and practice. As a certified psychodramatist, I bring a unique perspective to my roles, infusing creativity and experiential techniques into both my academic and therapeutic endeavors.
Your Partner in Well-being: Whether you are navigating the complexities of well-being research, seeking support through group psychotherapy, or envisioning a trauma-informed approach to elevate your business, support your family business with motivational frameworks, you've found a partner dedicated to your well-being journey.
Thank you for stepping into this space of exploration, learning, and transformation. Together, let's co-create a path towards sustainable well-being, where science and the real world comes together into a harmonious symphony of understanding, support, and growth.

Exclusive
Services
Therapy
~ Whether you are an executive, entrepreneur, founder, family business member, or simply a human being, you need to understand the Psychological ROI in Well-Being as a strategic decision for the ripple effect from individuals to communities.
I view wellbeing as an investment in your entire operation, not only limited to Board Room, Operations, or HR, with a direct impact on the financial stability of your organization. When I say organization - I mean the one you work, AND your inner organization, the Me Inc.
My approach is grounded in empirical evidence and proven methodologies. We can assess how every dollar spent on this translates into your improved psychological profitability.
Experience Design in Marketing
for Products, Workplaces & Services
~ UX, CX, EX... they melt in the same pot: the X! The experience component is vitalizing since we are human and things require a human-centered experience design. Don't fall into the trap of empathy gap, and let's design it together.
This will help you leverage Experience Design for operational wellbeing beyond checklists! If anything, as a behavioral scientist, I’d call myself an experience-designer and researcher focusing on human emotions and needs. I specialize in creating environments, processes, and operations that promote autonomous motivation and well-being. This extends beyond traditional methods, incorporating innovative approaches to enhance the employee experience, customer experience, and user experience. Most of the time, what I see is that companies have good intentions and great ideas, yet poor executions that do not address the human motivation to buy into that change make no change at all, if not backfire.
Please drop me a line for project proposal tailored for you.
Group Work
~ Have you ever volun-told to join a corporate training? Then you know how draining it can be. Do a favor to your people, and let's design a creativity workshop, soft-skills training, or organizational healing group together. My philosophy in the movement from illbeing to wellbeing, trauma-informed practices, and the synergy between academia and industry is my signature strength that paved my way to co-chair the Organizational Consulting SIG at AGPA (American Group Psychotherapy Association).
Oh, by the way, I should have told you that I am a group psychotherapist who applies principles of therapy to organizations. You can think of me as an organizational therapist who takes on a leadership role beyond my own practice, helping other practitioners provide similar services. I understand that not everything can be treated as therapy, but with the right design, everything can be therapeutic. I have a comprehensive understanding of the wellness and illness spectrum and can help people move from ill-being to well-being using a holistic approach. My interventions can range from small workshops for different employee groups to auditing your wellbeing committee, trauma-informed task force, or human-centered marketing initiatives.
Half-day groups: $3-5K
Full-day groups: $5-8K
(The price might change depending on the group size.)
Research
~ I proudly partner with companies and help them with practical applications, implications, and future suggestions of existing research. Or, do you know what is even better? We do evidence-based research in my lab with partnership companies and sometimes even with my students, tailored to your industry and product.
Are you a one-stop shop for your niche industry? Same here. Fed up with the question, "Are you a generalist or a specialist?". I'd say I am a generalization specialist for wellbeing. So, let's work together. Contact me to strategize a research proposal, and I will guide you through the trenches of Institutional Review Board applications as your principal investigator to conduct a human subject research study together.
